My job placement - the work

Because I'm a little bit lazy, I will re-use a texte I wrote in French for an e-mail to one of my friends :P

ça me plait bien :).

Tweaked ankle

Yesterday I learned a word !
To tweak… or to be tweaked… or … Whatever: I've f***ing tweaked my ankle!
I had just joined a friend of mine in London, we decided to have a walk before choosing a restaurant for dinner, once tired from this walk we went down to a tube station and it's there that a nice cute little green f***ing plastic bottle a bit tired of her hard life around London decided to lie down exactly on the end of the stairs in front of me… Unfortunately my left foot also decided that I will lie down on the end of the stairs in front of me :)

We finally went to restaurant where we had pizzas "and a big bag of ice for me please?!"
Then my friend took me back home, and on the way we passed next to Freddy Mercury (very kind guy, a bit noisy, "il avait un peu la grosse tête quand même, en photo en lumières rouges ci-dessous").

My job placement - the office

The office of Jason Bruges Studio is in a big and quite cool building (I'll try to take pictures of it) called the Tea Building in the east part of London center (Liverpool street, Shoreditch…), same area that where I live.
Actually it's the coolest part of the city, everybody comes here to settle their creative, design and art company, and at night everybody comes here to party :)
The office itself is quite big, a large workshop room contains everything a architect could use for prototyping models and for technicians to prototype electronic stuffs. We also use it for ping-pong. The other part of the office contains all our desks we all work in the same room, on some walls are displayed previous artwork from the company.

Here are videos of the office, and a big picture (my desk is the one with my green choose under the table ;D). And some video of our ping-pong contest from wednesday!

English improving!

Crazy!

Before to come to London (LAST WEEK) I was just unavailable to understand a word from this song (except the chorus) because of his northern accent and today I just understand everything! WOUHOU! ;)

What's in my plate - this week

Some chilly rice made my flat mate :), some junkfood at work and some home curry vegetables + bagel ;)

Finally settled

Everything is in place, life can start!
Fridge is clean and full, bedroom is clean and tidy, clothes and sheets will be clean and dry soon.

Still to do:
Tidy and clean the entire house at least once;
Buy cheese (yes I forgot);

 Sunny Day!

There were an event as only the english can think of: a participative collective picnic.

By the way, it was my first day spent alone since 3 weeks (or more…) and damn! It's hard but it's good to do what has been left aside until now.

1st Saturday – Pinpin's birthday

Burger in the night (it could be the title of a song);
Pinpin and me at the spannish restaurant;
The street art from yesterday but a better photograph;
Preview of the weather :)

Just arrived

Last french meal in the train to London (goat cheese and nuts salade + Parisian baguette!).

Seen through the train window, we were approaching the sound speed, crazy huh?

AHHH London street art – not even arrived to my flat that London walls already talk to me.

LONDON – On the road again!

After 2 years of silence spent between webdesign in Limoges (France), Paris and interaction design in Switzerland here we are London!

The team is a bit different, Mili replaced our dear friend Charlotte and we're there at least 3 months.
It was a good opportunity to change the template of the Blog (still very simple)(still very lazy :P).
Enjoy.
